Jason Wu’s Fall 2011 RTW Collection was stunning. Lace and dark colors with a few pops of red, blue, and green made this collection one of my favorites. Jason Wu took garments that are normally casual, lay-around-the-house wear and jazzed them up with lace and embellishments. The sweater of the second look, for instance, is an example of this. It’s also an example of something I REALLY want in my closet!
This post is going to be the start of something new where I inform you all where you can get something you’re looking for. If you’ve been looking for the greatest, hippest accessories, well then consider yourself lucky that this first installment is accessories.
So where can you get these amazing accessories? Two words. Charming. Charlie. This boutique like store is filled to the brim with every accessory imaginable. From scarves, hats, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, this store’s got it all.
Listen to what some of the customers have said about the store in this short video.
Charming Charlie has a unique website, allowing a shopper to check out haul or store review videos before even stepping foot into the door.
When there, you’ll find that most everything is super affordable. The majority of their prices range from $4.97 to $49.97. You’ll also realize the organization of the store; it’s all color coded!
Charming Charlie has found a fun and organized way to finish off an outfit. Next time you’re in need of some great accessories, I highly recommend making a trip to Charming Charlie.
If I could take this runway and put it in my closet, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Monique Lhuillier did an amazing job combining animal print, lace, sequins, feathers, and a couple pops of color in this line. There were all kinds of different textures that made up for the lack of color. I liked the darker, somber colors, it’s more fall anyway. Every look was form-fitting and figure flattering. There was an outfit for every time of day and for any event. From the pant suits to the gowns, it was all PERFECT!
A girl’s worst nightmare is to walk into a party only to see some other girl weraing the EXACT same outfit as you. Well for these girls, that nightmare came true. So, who do you think wore it better? I’ll tell you who I think the winner is, so be sure to comment and tell me who you think wore it better, too.
Match Up #1: Blake Lively v. Alexa Chung in Chanel
As admirable as Alexa Chung is for her spunky personality, I’m gonna have to give this to Blake. She pulls off the dress a lot better. Plus, the nude pumps make the outfit look more complete. Alexa’s top half is looking a little too droopy, for lack of better words.
Match Up #2: Kellie Pickler v. Selena Gomez in Zuhair Murad
The winner here would have to be Kellie simply because this dress seems too mature for Selena. However, I like Selena’s shoes better. Kellie’s make her legs look shorter.
Match Up # 3: Kate Beckinsale v. Kim Kardashian in Nina Ricci
As much as I adore Kim, this gown just does not look too good on her. It definately hugs her curves, but the ruffles not only make her look wider, she also looks shorter. Kate Beckinsale is the clear winner here. This dress slims her and elongates her body.
Now that you know what I think, make sure you go comment right now to give me your opinions!

Beauty Gurus are all over YouTube. The first time I saw Juicystar07, Blair Fowler, I fell in love with her whole channel. Her adorable and bubbly personality and great sense of style provides for perfect fashion and fun videos. Blair does different types of videos, from tutorials to hauls, or even “favorites”, like this video. Be sure to check her out and her channel. She also has a sister Allthatglitters21, Elle Fowler, who also has a similar channel.
I’ve recently realized how much I ADORE Elie Saab! This designer incorporates the look of romance to all of his designs. Looking through his garments, all I saw was sequins, ruffles, and lace, three things that make me drool. His pieces are classy and sophisticated. He even designs wedding dresses aside from couture and ready to wear. I also just discovered that he’s Middle Eastern. Hmm, strange how we always tend to gravitate towards each other.
